  I have visited the Lime Kiln twice now and I am very happy with the quality of the food and value for money.
  
  It has a nice atmosphere, the staff (especially Margot) are very friendly and attentive to making sure everything was to our satisfaction.
  
  The only thing preventing me from giving the Lime Kiln 5 stars is that the Manager (older gentleman with grey hair) can come across as a bit abrasive and dismissive of customers when bringing orders to the table. Also overheard him complaining about a customer to a member of staff, on our first visit. This seemed like an unprofessional thing to do in front of customers.
  
  Other than this one issue, it is a very pleasant and good value establishment to visit for a meal or a drink.

  Cheap and cheerful. Food was OK but not amazing. Great for families with a brilliant play around for wee ones. Some good deals during the week too.

  We sat at our table and had to ask for the dirty dishes from the previous customers to be cleared away. Once we had finished our starters several members of staff walked past our table without clearing away our dirty dishes. Our main course arrived and it was not up to standard. Poor service.
